Berita 24 English -The commerce ministry announced on Monday that Thailand will issue June inflation figures on Tuesday at 0900 (0200 GMT), an earlier period than originally planned.
The ministry had previously declared that the date was being changed from Tuesday to Thursday.
Because it may influence when interest rates are raised, markets have been keenly monitoring inflation data. According to a Reuters survey, core inflation will be 2.37 percent in June, with headline inflation expected to be 7.5 percent.
While the core rate was 2.28 percent in May, headline inflation reached 7.1 percent, the highest level in over 14 years.
A target of 1-3 percent for overall inflation is set by the central bank.
